THANK YOU!

I have been absolutely blown away by the response to Sponsor a Stretcher, the generosity and support has been incredible and I thank each and every one of you. The CURRENT campaign is now closed, this allows me to ensure I have all the sponsored stretchers ordered, delivered (to me) labelled, packaged and then delivered by me in Ukraine. All of this except the final delivery is now DONE so WATCH THIS SPACE for updates once the stretchers have been delivered! Then after my return I may reopen the campaign so definitely come back and check! Read below for my story so far:

My name is Gary Carmichael I have been delivering Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine since April 2022 just after the full scale war began. In August 2024 I will make making my 9th delivery to Ukraine consisting of urgently needed, high grade medical supplies but I also want to deliver stretchers for medics in Ukraine. These emergency stretchers are compact enough to be carried by individual medics on foot and can be rapidly deployed meaning they can be used to quickly evacuate wounded. The cost of the stretcher is approximately £24 each and so I am hoping to raise as much as possible to order as many as possible, that’s where you come in!

You can donate as little as you like BUT for £24 you will Sponsor a Stretcher meaning I will attach a label with your name (or business/Group name) to the stretcher packaging so that when the medic receives that stretcher they will know it came from YOU! So please consider this urgent and worthy cause and Sponsor a Stretcher today!

THANK YOU!

New Fundraiser!

After the huge success of Sponsor a Stretcher and with all stretchers (and a bunch of other stuff) delivered I am inspired and committed to doing it again! My next fundraiser will be very similar but I am going to expand the scope - I.e beyond stretchers to include other medical supplies such as bandages, tourniquets, dressings etc.

I am still working out all the details but my current plan is to offer several “tiers” of sponsorship such as:

Tier 1: £100 - purchases a full IFAK (individual first aid kit with all of the essentials) plus a stretcher and any surplus being used to purchase additional medical items - for this the “sponsor” will receive their name/organisation printed on the sponsored item/s, a FREE Ukraine key ring AND a certificate of thanks

Tier 2: £50 - purchases an IFAK (individual first aid kit with all of the essentials)- for this the “sponsor” will receive their name/organisation printed on the sponsored item/s and a FREE Ukraine key ring.

Tier 3: £25 - purchases a stretcher- for this the “sponsor” will receive their name/organisation printed on the sponsored item/s.

It will be possible to “sponsor” multiple items of each tier I.e 2 x stretchers and 1 x IFAK etc
